Most spring shops can't wind to the small 4' od of the Spridget spring. Perhaps Hap would know where we could get springs made that would be both strong enough and tall enough. Should have it done by the end of Feb, although testing will probably have to wait for another month or so until the weather improves a bit. I'm currently working on an adjustable height spring perch for the front of my car so I can get the height exactly where I want it with stock springs. Race springs are generally too short for a street driven car. Stock springs are close to the right rate, but just a little soft and allow the front to sag a bit too much and there really aren't any other choices that I've found for a street car. The two areas of concern so far have been somewhat weak brakes, which is a known problem for all Spridgets, and lack of a good spring to handle the slight increase in weight.
